A Note from the President...

The Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent restrictions have caused us, in common with many, if not all, local clubs and community social groups to cease our activities for the time being. Hence, with regret we found it necessary to cancel the balance of our 2019/20 talks programme, which would have ended in July.

We are hopeful that we may be able to run our new programme from September 2020, subject to the prevailing situation with the pandemic and contingent restrictions. We shall update members and potential new members when the way ahead is clear.

Meanwhile, I am confident that Kingsbridge Probus Club will return and remain a strong, vibrant and engaging community group far into the future.

Stay safe.

About us

PROBUS is a local, national, and international association of retired people who come together in non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit, autonomous clubs which provide regular opportunities for members to meet others in similar circumstances, with similar levels of interest, make new friends, and maintain and expand their interests.

At the Kingsbridge Probus Club we hold monthly meetings at the Mill Club, Kingsbridge where we enjoy an interesting talk and have lunch and/or a drink.

Our spouses/partners are invited to join us in the Spring, Autumn and Christmas for a good lunch at a restaurant or gastro-pub in the area.

We also arrange trips to nearby attractions of interest to members such as local museums, canal trip, naval dockyard, met office, etc.

Try us for no charge on the third Tuesday of the month at 10.30 a.m. at the Mill Club, Western Backway, Kingsbridge TQ7 1QB.
